Wonderful little book. Great reading in bed just before going to sleep.I read it again last night, after first reading an earlier version a year or so ago.It is one of five in an Executive Literature Series of novelettes (short novels, 7500 - 17000 words) - all are good at: http://www.conquistador.org/The story is fascinating, seems very real and compelling.The characters are ones I can identify with, the good and the bad traits.The suspense in the plot is real with ups and downs for the characters that ring true.The conflict in ideas, motivations, or lack of motivation, and circumstances kept me riveted.I hope there is a sequel to this book, since I want to see how several parts of the story are worked out, or at least how the author continues or modifies them. But at the same time, there was enough closure to this story, that I was satisfied with it.And did I say it was short? It was great to read beginning to end and get some real meat and satisfaction in about a little over an hour, and I am a slow reader.If you want a good, believable, and exciting and human business story, try it. I bet you will enjoy it.
