I'm glad I took the advice of other reviewers and stopped at the end of season 2. It had already started to go downhill, the last two episodes of season 2 were so drawn out with so may unfinished threads. Then season 3 they just tried to revamp it, killing off key players and bringing in a whole new crew. So yes, it's great in season 1 and most of season 2. But either the writers or directors or someone got too full of themselves and killed it.
A special unit investigates cross border crime in Europe in the mode of the FBI. It's a plausible idea for a police procedural. It has an interesting cast of European actors plus William Fichtner and Donald Sutherland. There are worst ideas especially for a scripted summer replacement. But it just isn't that good.<br/><br/>The first problem is the various European actors representing different countries. Either deliberately or not, they all speak English with accents. It gets tiring. Second is the writing. Sometimes, the crimes depicted here are ridiculous. For a show to run into ridiculous writing so quickly is a big red flag. Third, the show became less procedural and more serial. The serial story lines get more and more convoluted. So far there is only 10 episodes. Hopefully that is the end of it.
