Well as the years go by and I haven't stopped watching cartoons two shows have really stood out to me in the last few years and they are Gravity Falls and Adventure Time. Gravity Falls Season 2 has had 4 excellent shows in a row and it's likely going to continue it with the fith one while Adventure Time has actually kind of dropped in quality as of season 6 ( Don't get me wrong the Citadel was kick ass ). All in all I'd put these 2 shows at about equal right now. ( Not to mention GF being the only reason to even watch Disney ).
Bill Cipher and The Lich have similar abilities and are both amazing villains so who do you think would win? The radioactive manifestation of destruction or the arch demon with the attitude? :D

No way! A gravity falls battle! That is my second favorite thing after A:TLA! Too bad I have very limited knowledge on adventure time. What a shame.
@jr_avatarexpert: I can link you to the adventure time wiki where it has Lich feats. I thought it would be a good battle because they both have Pyrokinesis, Telekinesis, Telepathy and a few other tricks in both their favors.

Late reply I know but I think the lich has it not sure never watched gravity falls but I know the lich can cause people to Fall just by saying it(imagine him saying kill .-.) and not even god(or at least god of the AT universe) can stop him even death is afraid of him what feats does bill have?

@megaquake2012: He has similar power levels to the Lich but is limited by the fact that he needs to make defined deals before being able to do anything too crazy. This battle is taking place on neutral grounds however.
@darkdefender: if its on neutral grounds and if he has the same power levels as the lich shouldn't it be even?
@megaquake2012: Well I'm trying to figure out if Bill has any telepathic defenses. I believe he does but I have to check my sources. If he doesn't the Lich could win through that.

Their abilities are really even. But I say the Lich. He doesn't need permission to control you.
Despite how terrifying he is, the Lich always seems to be defeated pretty easily. Bill, not so much.
Bill in an epic fight. I'd pay to see it.

@solar_powered: Ahh his capabilities. Sorry. He has been able to create water resistant flames capable of burning through a magical crystalline substance that is meant to neutralize magic and was used to hold some of the most powerful cosmic criminals in existence. His enhanced strength has allowed him to wrestle with an enlarged Jake and his speed is such that he has closed large gaps within seconds. His durability has allowed him to survive sword slashes and large blasts from weapons meant purely to combat him. He is immortal and when his physical form is destroyed he can simply possess another life form. His telepathy is up to the level where he can override Finn and many others mental defenses immediately. Finn has been shown in the past against Goliad to have a high level of mental resistance. He has been shown to be able to fly and his knowledge in magic allows him to use materials contained in his sanctum to regain his full power ( showing that the feats the Lich is capable of is not even him at his peak ) his knowledge in science has allowed him to create a giant irradiated body for him to possess.
@darkdefender: Well, if that ability to simply change bodies were excluded, he'd be a great match for the Crystal Gems, I'd assume.
Here is a demonstration of one of their more impressive battles.
Garnet (The tallest one) is the strongest among them. As you can see, the mere impact of her clashing with her clone was powerful enough to shatter the ground beneath them. Her combat speed is pretty impressive too (relative to Adventure Time), as she was creating afterimages with her fists.
Also, as you can see at 0:51 and beyond, Amethyst, who's not even the strongest gem, can lift and hurl large boulders with ease.
Though, I'll leave you to determine how impressive the battle is for yourself.
Furthermore, I'm not sure how Garnet would fare against Telepathy. It's never been used (to my knowledge) before in Steven Universe. Though she is very strong willed.
Also, the gems can fuse to become more powerful if necessary, though I can show you that later if you're still interested.
That looks amazing and I think it would be a great fight. I am of course taking out the Lich's ability to simply possess another body. Once he's defeated he's defeated for good. Bill also doesn't have to make a deal to participate in this fight and has all the powers he has in his dream reality.
@darkdefender: late I also know but the beast from over the garden wall wouldn't be a bad edition to add though we know almost nothing about his powers he's still a powerful entity In his own right
@solar_powered: seemed pretty impressive but were they literally defeated by one mere shield that didn't do anything but absorb something?(sorry if I'm underestimating the shield or something but I've never watched Steven universe)
Idk, bill is pretty minipulative and crafty and it would be EXTREMELY improbable that the lich could possess bill or mindrape. But bill never had any real feats outside a dream world, besides possessing a kid and some kind of TP
I think lich will win as bill can only mind attack and does the lich even have a mind hes like undead xD

@haoalchemist: The Lich also can't be erased by Prismo, who is in his own right a reality warper. Most of the cosmic entities are also afraid of the Lich. Even Death. So that speaks volumes of the Lich's power level.
Just want to note this thread was made before Wierdmaggedon...
I do find it interesting that Death fears the Lich though that is probably because once the Lich accomplishes his goal of destroying all life death will cease to exist. Plus in the recent episode it's revealed that Death has a crush on Life.
I'm pretty sure the lich can kill abstract beings.

Idk, I never like SU... at all. It was just weird and the animation style made me uncomfortable. However, the first few seasons of Adventure Time were absolutely phenomenal. It was a really pleasant surprise considering how I thought the show was gonna suck bawlz. I only have Netflix now, though, so I'm not up-to-date with AT. People are saying it kinda sucks now ever since Pendleton stopped writing for it. :'(
And I never watched Gravity Falls 'cause Disney Channel is scum.
@echostarlord117: Both Pen and Sugar ( Steven Universe creator ) left the show and it's... well to be frank it's not as good as it was before. That's changing now in S7 now that Rebbeca Sugar is guest writing a Marceline miniseries titled "Stakes." Gravity Falls while still great never had that absolute masterpiece quality for me except in very special moments. Like the season finale of S1 and anytime Bill Cipher was in the show. xD

SU is...okay, I catch an episode every now and again and it does have some deep stuff. I could never get into Adventure Time besides the Marceline character.

I find it people who only watch one episode of a show to try and see what the big deal is, won't get it. I say watch more than one episode, cause some are def funnier than others. To me the mocking of sci fi as well as the pure outrageousness of it keeps me hooked.
Lich throws Bill like a shuriken into the wall, KO.
I think Bill might just win. In the latestepisode he ripped a whole in the sky and killed time baby who seemed to be an all powerful almost godlike figure. And all Bill did was point at him. The Lich is powerful too but Bill's power when in our dimension is near limitless. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to trap the Lich in a weird dimension or something.
