Rahul embarks on a journey to a small town in Tamil Nadu to fulfill the last wish of his grandfather: to have his ashes immersed in the Holy water of Rameshwaram. En route, he meets a woman hailing from a unique family down South. As they find love through this journey in the exuberant lands of South India, an unanticipated drive awaits them.
A man heading towards Rameshwaram via Chennai express to immerse his late grandfather's ashes unwillingly gets caught amidst goons after helping their boss's daughter and them board the train.
Shahrukh Khan has only done two good movies: Swadesh and Chuk De. In Chennai Expess he did everything what he did in Kuch Kuch- Puch Puch, Dilwale dulhaniya le jaa sakte hai.... and all previous acting.<br/><br/>He failed in all aspect... Comedy: He tried to hard to be smart and comic but now new generation of actors are doing better acting them him.<br/><br/>Romance: His time and age is over<br/><br/>Acting: He most of the time does overacting.<br/><br/>Beside of few scene the movie is absolute boring, and even infants will not laugh at SRK old jokes. Deepika has done better acting then SRK, even though she is also in learning phase.
Movies is good in parts , on the whole I didn&#39;t liked it , its one of the same Sharukhs full hit ingredient masala mix type movie , everything is included but basic story is fallible , story seems to be zabardasti made and sequences are put in just because OK X Y Z is obligatorily needed to make it super hit .. to Just Dal do ... types.<br/><br/>Start of the movie was good but after an hr it became real pathetic , comedy sequences were not at all justifying themselves ... overall I would have left the movie in the middle if I would have been watchin in alone , Once I was gr8 fan of Sharukh but after Chak de , I don&#39;t think he gave any value to Indian cinema , if you just talk of cheap entertainment then its provided in nearly every south Indian movie ( these guys are flooding all south movies translated in Hindi on every channel ) Deepika did justice to her role ( Last scene was really absurd ... when sharukh was beating the villain just double his size ... Ha ha ha it was like &quot;JUST FILMY&quot; ,on the contrary I loved his aggressive action in bazigarr .. &quot; Chopra.... &quot; but this was a real disaster :) Lungi dance song is good but its after movie ends (Because its POWERED BY SUPER S SUPER SIR RAJNI..) Its like after a gr8 deal of torcher, lets give you some real entertainment.
