In alignment with its mandate, CHED relentlessly offers underprivileged and deserving Filipinos the chance to access superior higher education, as articulated in its Long Term Development Plan provisions for “Access and Equity.” This mission is achieved through the establishment and management of scholarship programs, grants-in-aid, and loan provisions.


Benefits of CHED Scholarship🎉

The following enumerates the array of benefits that a CHED Scholar is entitled to enjoy:

1. Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF): The scholarship will cover the expenses related to tuition and other mandatory school fees.

2. Stipend per Semester: CHED Scholarship recipients will receive a stipend per semester, aiding in their educational pursuits.

3. Book/Connectivity Allowance: The scholarship encompasses a book or connectivity allowance, easing the financial burden on scholars.

  

The stipend will be distributed either directly to the scholars or routed through the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The book/connectivity allowance will be granted for each semester within the academic year until the culmination of the degree program.


Financial Assistance – Private HEIs

For students enrolled in Private HEIs, the financial assistance benefits are outlined as follows:


Full PESFA – Annual Benefits: Scholars under the Full PESFA – Annual category will receive a total of ₱120,000. This sum will be allocated as follows:

  • Tuition and other school fees (TOSF) – ₱40,000

 • Stipend – ₱70,000

 • Book/Connectivity allowance – ₱10,000

  

Full PESFA – Semestral Benefits: Students falling under the Full PESFA – Semestral bracket will receive a total of ₱60,000, distributed as:

Tuition and other school fees (TOSF) – ₱20,000

 • Stipend – ₱35,000

 • Book/Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000

  

Half PESFA – Annual Benefits: Half PESFA – Annual beneficiaries will be granted ₱60,000, with allocation as follows:

 • Tuition and other school fees (TOSF) – ₱20,000

 • Stipend – ₱35,000

 • Book/Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000

  

Half PESFA – Semestral Benefits: Scholars classified under Half PESFA – Semestral will obtain ₱30,000, distributed in the subsequent manner:

• Tuition and other school fees (TOSF) – ₱20,000

• Stipend – ₱17,500

• Book/Connectivity allowance – ₱2,500

Step 1: Begin by completing the CHED Scholarship application

Step 2: Once the form is fully filled out, submit it alongside all the required documentary evidence to CHED Regional Offices.
