Bypass GDrive "download limit exceeded" issue

Rahul Sarawagi

In this article, I'll show how to bypass GDrive "download limit exceeded" issue.

Pre-requisite Downloads -
- Browser (Firefox/Chrome recommend)
- GDrive app
- ADM/IDM app (optional, but highly recommended)

First, try to open the GDrive link after sign-in to your Google account, sometimes doing this only solves the problem and you don't have to do the entire process. But if still problem not solved than follow this process.

1. Copy link of GDrive file which is showing limit exceeded issue and paste it in URL space of browser, after that select entire link and long press on it, a few floating options appear. Select "Open".
2. Select "Just once".
3. Once this floating download process bar appears than just close the browser, this means file is successfully added to your GDrive.
4. Open GDrive app
5. As you can see the file is added to my GDrive, now click on 3 dots (of the while which is added).
6. Select option "Make a copy".
7. Select location "My Drive".
8. Click on "Select".
9. As you can see the copy of same file is added to my GDrive, now click on 3 dots of this copy file.
10. Turn on link sharing.
11. Select option "Copy Link".
12. Paste link in URL space of browser. After link opens, click on download icon.
13. Done. Download. Enjoy. :)
Notes -
- Use ADM/IDM app to download so that your download doesn't gets stuck and even if it gets stuck you can refresh link and resume download.
- If you still can't do this than don't bother to PM/tag me, I won't help ultra-noobs like you.
