There is a mall nearby, salons, restaurants.. It has a lake view, very eye catching. The hotel itself offers many restaurants but they close around 1AM. You can also enjoy a gym when you stay at the hotel. The hotel is not noisy nor is the street. The windows have safety measures which is good if you have children; you can crack open the window to a certain extent not fully. The staff are very friendly and finish paperwork quickly. With the recent refurbishment of the property, RAK hotel has increased its luxury quotient. Very decent prices should give its competitors a run for their money!! Good and convenient location, friendly staff, good restaurant with live music. I liked this hotel, good place to spend weekend. They had kept only 2 tea bags in the room and refused to give more than 2 more!! And I drink strong tea. I am not sure is this a standard of four star hotel but please assess by yourselve basic on attached photos from my room. Anyway the food is quite ok, the staff is super pleasant and helpful. Of course alcohol is unavailable. Average price with good foods, and tip top facility. We were given a basket of fruits as compliment gift. Very good memories are associated with the same place. I have attended marriages, held Conferences and dinners. Good place with average room rents. Stayed in this hotel for an overnight stay. After reading couple of reviews, I was bit skeptical but I was surprised finding the hotel very clean, though the hotel is bit dated. Rooms were moderately spacious. Staff was very kind and cheerful. There was buffet lunch and dinner in their hotel restaurant. Dinner was open only until Dinner was delicious with lot of varieties. If you want to enjoy the food start your dinner early unlike us who came late and could not enjoy the food. Free WiFi available On a negative point, on the day we stayed, hot water heater was not working, however it was hot summer, we could manage without hot water. Shower was broken. There are 2 swimming pools one for adult and kids. Both were over crowded. I would say it was bit inconvenient for female guests to use the swimming pool. Next day morning we had breakfast included in our package. Variety was available but French bread tasted funny. Vegetable ratatouille and toasted cheese sandwich was tasty.
