Bulletproof follows two cops, Bishop and Pike, as they chase down hardened criminals in London's East End. On the surface Bishop and Pike have a lot in common they are cool, smart, unapologetically street-wise and tough; they share a deep, fraternal relationship - and are always there for each other. However, they come from very different backgrounds and their personal motivations and emotional lives outside the police force differ as a result: Pike is an aspirational family man, the son of a decorated police officer who's determined to follow in his father's footsteps, but not be in his shadow. Bishop grew up in care homes and on the streets, and never knew his father. Despite these differences Bishop and Pike are bonded by the same moral code and work brilliantly well together even when the chemistry between them looks set to explode.
Growing up, Bishop and Pike had very different lives. Pike's dad was the first black police commissioner and the son grew up always trying to live up to expectations, while Bishop grew up looking for a father figure as he was passed around foster homes, moving from school to school. Bulletproof will put their friendship to the test for the first time.
I read most fo the comments and some people think it's bad. It's ok ,that's your opinion . The two leads are passionate, they have chemistry, banter and it's white fence , lovely family comp show like blue bloods. Guys we are not a cliche like american tvs , not everything turn up great all the time. I liek the show because people can relate, the language they use might be very different to some people (forgive me if you never heard of term brauv) but thats what makes it unique. Watch Guy Ritchie film and see if everyone understand the language. keep it up and I do hope the story line gets better. Noel and Ashley are doing a good job, keep it up guys !
Just binge-watched the second half of the series. No idea why so many reviewers didn&#39;t enjoy this UK version of Starsky &amp; Hutch - we didn&#39;t leave the sofa!<br/><br/>We enjoy action but not so keen on dramas; love cameraderie and humour. This show hit the spot. Have a feeling that there won&#39;t be a second series though, it seemed like a completed project.
