COPS investigating the killing of a teenager who was allegedly knifed after answering a knock at the door have charged two people - including a 15-year-old boy - with murder.
Camron Smith, 16, is believed to have been stabbed when he went to the front door of his home in Croydon just after 12.45am on July 1.
Police and paramedics rushed to the home in Shrublands, but despite their efforts, Camron was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family is being supported by specialist officers.
Last night, detectives investigating his death charged two people with murder and robbery.
One - a 15-year-old boy - was arrested in East Sussex, while the second, Romain La Pierre, 18, of Cricklewood, was arrested in the West Midlands.
Both will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court today.
An 18-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody in north London.
Police continue to investigate Camron’s death.
Anyone with information should call the Met Police's incident room on 0208 721 4961.
Speaking after the tragedy, his neighbour Samantha Gail said: β€œIt’s usually a quiet area.
"This is such a friendly area where everyone is polite to each other and there is a real community feel.”
Camron is the 19th teenager to be killed in London this year.
More teens have been killed in the capital in the first six months of this year than in the whole of 2020.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in the face.
Police were called to reports of an assault at Castle Causeway in Sleaford, Lincolnshire just before 8:45 pm on Friday night (2 July).
Lincolnshire Police said that a 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment after sustaining several wounds to his face. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
On Sunday the force said a 15-year-old boy had been arrested on suspicion of GBH in connection with the incident and was helping officers with their inquiries.
In a statement, it said police still want to hear from anyone with information or who was in the area at the time, or may have video footage of the incident.
Earlier the force reassured people that the stabbing was believed to be an isolated incident.
It said extra patrols would be conducted in the area to reassure residents.
