But it takes a small miracle and an angelic visitor to help Max do exactly that.This is a bittersweet story about learning to deal with loss and moving on. I loved how Max finally understood that it is okay to let go, it doesn’t mean he will stop loving Steve. But he is gone, and Max is still alive. While the whole story was beautiful, the final lines with their message of hope were my favorite.If you like bittersweet stories with a hopeful ending, if you enjoy reading about men dealing with grief, and if you believe in the healing power of love, the symbolism of a few feet of nylon rope not withstanding, then you will probably like this free short story.
