Readers will soon realize that Qasim is a true alpha male and believes in going after what he wants. He makes it clear that he will not be relegated to the “friend” category as well as makes it known that Vectra is off limits to other male companions. Vectra is dealing with a past abusive relationship and knows that Qasim could break through her barriers but is scared to give her heart. Their journey is a powerful one that will have readers pulling for them. It is hilarious how Qasim’s possessiveness is displayed and to see his love for Vectra is great. Overall, Embrace My Heart was a good read and I anxiously await the sequel.
