By: Liesel Vance on Jan 23,2017 From the start this mattress was very easy to transport, being in a box that could fit in any car. Bringing it home was super easy but the rest was even easier. I love how we just had to take it out of the package and let it unroll on our bed frame. After we waited a while it was ready to go! The first night was an adjustment (never sleeping on a memory foam bed before) but after that, I’ve slept great because it is so firm. The one thing that I’m not used to about a memory foam bed is that when sat on, the edges naturally sink down. But overall, it’s a great bed, easy to assemble, and so comfortable to sleep on! Reply to this review By: Nate on Jan 12,2017 First off, if you have never had a memory foam mattress, know that they are different than your typical box spring mattress. From my experience, all of the differences are improvements/benefits. When you sit down, lay down, or apply any pressure to the mattress, it will “give” or “sink in” a bit exactly where you apply the pressure.
Note, this is a good thing! If you think about a box spring mattress when you lay on it, the whole mattress is likely to “sink in” a little. That means that if there are more than one of you on the mattress, you are going to know it and feel it, especially when one of you rolls over or moves around. With my Lucid memory foam mattress, I can’t even tell my wife is there when she is sleeping next to me. I don’t feel the mattress move when she rolls over. This mattress is solid in the best way possible. It’s not bouncy and offers great support, molding to your body when you’re on it. That’s what makes this bed so comfortable. For those who want your mattress to be extra-extra soft, I would definitely recommend this bed, but also getting a down mattress topper from Lucid. Then you’ll have the support you need, and on the surface it will feel like you are sleeping on a pillow. Personally, I’m more than happy with my Lucid mattress just the way it is, and I would recommend it to anyone.

After 25 years of an old spring mattress I was so looking forward to this mattress and hoping it would help with some mid-lower back issues. Pros: This mattress arrived on time, easy to move up the stairs (in a box, will need two people). The cover is very soft. What a great deal!Cons: It does still sleep warm--that problem is not completely gone even with the gel foam. I think this will be nice in the fall/winter though!! It does have an odor for at least a week, but it wasn't overwhelming and is completely gone now (had it for just over 2 months). Last, I'm a relatively small person and think this mattress is just a bit firm for me and that may contribute to the fact that my back pain is not completely gone when waking up in the morning--though it is much better than the spring mattress.
