A world divided into progress and devastation. The link between the two sides - Offshore and Inland - is a rigorous and painstaking system called The Process. Everyone in Inland has a chance to go through The Process to live a better life in Offshore. But only 3% make it through.
I was looking for some entertaining series and accidentally stumbled over this one.<br/><br/>To be honest, not everything pleased me - partly the acting, partly some of the ideas.<br/><br/>But overall I found it very entertaining and the main idea is better than expected - as it first seems like a cheap Hunger Games copy but I found the characters more interesting and versatile here.<br/><br/>I&#39;m looking forward to season 2.
I watched this series (in Brazilian Portugese with English subtitles) because it was different (Brazilian sf) and had a high rating (7.6 at the time). However, I found it extremely disappointing. The story, after episode 1, really is very boring and if it goes anywhere it does so at a glacial pace. None of the characters are likeable or relatable and almost the entire series takes place in one single setting. The acting is poor and the camera work makes you seasick (short takes, close-up and shaky). The whole thing seems aimed at the &quot;young adult&quot; audience (like the Hunger Games) - maybe I&#39;m just too old.
