If you want a bed with bounce, there’s still nothing that will beat an inner spring mattress: The Saatva Luxury Firm mattress is at a medium firmness level. For instance I found the WinkBed to be a little firmer than the Saatva and I would classify the Winkbed as a firm mattress. However both have good support and the level of softness for the top layer is really a matter of preference but I do think the Saatva will appeal to most peoples firmness preference.
The Saatva mattress is built with individually wrapped coils. This means that each coil works independently which means less motion transfer and more contouring to every curve of your body.I am particularly impressed with the tufting on the top layer of the mattress. You sink in just the right amount with the Saatva mattress. The standard depth is 14.5 inches which is one of the thickest mattresses I have reviewed. You can also get a slimmer version at 11.5 inches if you want a more modern look. The cushy pillow top is a unique feature to Saatva that gives it such great pressure relief.This mattress also has good edge support. That means you can use the whole surface of the mattress. If you get to the edge you won’t feel like you’re going to fall off.As far as cooling, Saatva does a great job with temperature regulation. The organic cotton top is very soft and breathable.If you’re looking for a quality inner spring mattresses that has a soft cushioning top layer with great lumbar support, this is it.

I have slept on many inner spring mattresses both from traditional stores like Slumberland, Sleepys, Sleep Train, Mattress Firm, etc. If more people realized the value they get with a Saatva as compared to some of the higher end brands offered by higher end Sealy, Serta and Simmons, there would be a whole lot less brick and mortar stores! With Saatva, I have no complaints.Saatva also offers quality foundations for their mattresses along with white glove delivery. That means they will bring the bed into your house and room of your choosing and remove your old mattress. With many online companies you need to figure that part out on your own.I could write all kinds of reviews about brick and mortar mattresses but at the end of the day you are still paying too much for what you get and that’s why they don’t warrant any space on my site. Another point to note is that people often ask, can a Saatva mattress be used on an adjustable bed? The answer is, unfortunately no. The spring system used won’t allow for it and can wreck the mattress. It does offer great value (See how Saatva compares to leading brands HERE), but I do have a few complaints as well. If you are used to innerspring mattresses (and many people are), you will probably be right at home with the Saatva. It has a smart construction that has that traditional spring feel while being available at a very affordable price. It has nice bounce and you definitely feel that you are sleeping “on” the mattress rather than “in” it. Having said that, it’s not going to be for everyone, as there are certain type of feels that some people prefer more (like a slow-moving memory foam feel). Get Saatva at Factory Direct Prices Why You Might Not Want To Look At Saatva You Want A Memory Foam Feel– Those who are used to memory foam or are seeking out that memory foam feel will not get experience from Saatva.
