The topper arrived compactly packaged and had adequate directions to explain the stages of expansion the topper must go through to fit the bed.Having used memory foam bed toppers before I was prepared for the scent of the foam out of the packaging. This one wasn't bad at all. I put it under a waterproof cover and then put a mattress pad over that, before adding the fitted sheet. I then used The ORIGINAL Bed Band - Adjustable Fastener/Holder/Strap/Suspender/Gripper for Your Sheets. Patent Pending (1 Pack) to tighten the sheet and left it to expand. The fit was perfect when left for 24 hours, with no noticeable difference in the fit after 72 hours.I noticed no nicks in the foam and it expanded to the perfect size.
My foam topper was slightly yellow (not white as shown in the Amazon photos), but that's due to the natural oxidation of the foam and doesn't affect the durability of it.This topper is priced right, well packaged and is dense enough to offer support, yet still cradle your body.
