A significant amount of people know or heard about that book - “Secret”. It was also made a movie about this subject.

The main idea:

🔹 you have to imagine everything you want,
🔹 put them on a paper as beautiful pictures,
🔹 visualize your feelings after reaching goals...

and the Universe will help you to reach them.

Characters from this book told about unbelievable miracles they had after imagination. A bad thing about this, is the fact that you won’t reach your goals until you will do something. I can imagine that people had shown to us told the truth. I am almost sure that exactly these people have done something for this. That map of wishes was a kind of a plan for them. And I am also pretty sure there were a lot of people who haven’t reach their goals.

So we have two ways to reach goals: to strive or to keep dreaming. Sounds easy, ah? Let’s see.

I’m a convinced dreamer. I want so many goals to reach, things to try, places to visit! I also like planning. To put steps in the right order, to prioritize tasks - this is my favorite. And realization is the hardest. It’s easy to do something while I am inspired and motivated though. It’s hard when I didn’t sleep enough, I am tired or just in a bad mood.

What am I going to do this time? I’m going to use the WOOP method. The main idea is to keep dreaming but to be ready for situations when you won’t be so inspired as in the start. As I’m writing here about reaching goals, let me expain what the WOOP means. It's steps you are able to do:

W - Wish,
O - Outcome,
O - Obstacle,
P - Plan.

This is an explanation of how it works at Harvard Business Review:

📍 Name a wish that is attainable or realistic for you — say, landing a new client.
đź“Ť Then imagine for a few minutes what would happen if that wish came true, letting the images flow freely through your mind.
đź“Ť Then change things up. Identify the main obstacle inside you that stands in the way, and imagine it for a few minutes.
đź“Ť Now on to your plan: If faced with obstacle X, then you will take effective action Y in response.

I will describe my goals in this way later. And let's see if it will work.
