Statement of united students of Iran around 11th assembly election

Throughout the certain remaining days of the 11th assembly election, people's silence against the futile fury of official forces screams for the meaninglessness of this election with the highest voice. Seemingly people of Iran shocked by repression and the grief of bloody souls witness the invalid and unreliable election process and day by day they consider themselves as alienated against the loathesome plays of political spectrums without social status. Nowadays political parties and progresses have such a distance from people that surely none of the rudimental political, economic, cultural and social chaos will be reflected. If one day election could shape politics around some real oppostions, today undoubtedly true politics would be possible solely by exchanging match field and fundamental rotation toward people. It is a must to return to the society with people. With those who constitutionized with the quest for justice and law a century ago, who rioted against exploitation through the acts of nationalizing oil rights, who revived the ideal of battling with despotism in revolution of 1979 and who standed up for the revival of republicanism in the year 2009.

Through the recent years people are at the end of licentious economic policies, political elimination and omission and any kind of cultural and social discrimination's rope. These people expressed their protest with the clearest mode in January of 2018 and November and December of 2019 and January of 2020 to all. Alas power atricken men did not have any response for the right claims of people except repression. We are mournful for our martyrs, concerned with our imprisoned companions and angry of the continuous crisis and we assume the unique way of changing the future in resistance against the present situation, for we believe that the continuation of the present process results nothing but destruction. The only acts of us today can be the guarantor of our tomorrow's deliverance.

Dear Iranian people;

The answer to the question of whether or not to vote in advance is now clear.

The widespread and complicated economic, financial, administrative, environmental, cultural and social crises, along with political blockade, have destroyed the remaining hope of changing the country's macro-management by voting.So few would doubt that the ballot box and any electoral mechanism would be meaningless.However, this same final stance on elections is not meant to be on of the same way to approach various political forces with the situation.Although most political groups insist on not voting, each of them justifies this non-participation by their own logic. accidentally, the most important political surplus of the 11th parliamentary election could be to reveal the differences between these different logics. However, the corrupt monarchist opposition, as well as some electoral disqualifies advertise not to vote just like many progressive forces. We need to be careful that despite the same final result. There is a difference or even fundamental conflicts between strategies and analytical methods of these groups. So we need to be careful about the logic of analysis and the method of justifying the lack of participation in the election by different groups.Because we can understand the understanding of each group of politics as well as their proposed alternatives to the present situation. This detail can help differentiate between reactionary forces outside the system and liberation forces.

We believe that to the extent that voting cannot change our political and biological status, the mere emphasaising on non-voting does (surplus part cleared). What is important here is to reveal the mechanisms and processes that have made the election meaningless in recent years. The establishment of a political economy of exclusion and elimination in Iran has left behind the poor, including the marginalized, the unemployed, the disenfranchised, the card board sleepers, and so on.

Mechanisms such as the privatization of national resources in the fake name of "entrusting people", the provisionalization of the workforce, and the commodification of a wide variety of areas, such as education and health, have all served to disadvantage different classes, especially workers and wage earners. It is high time to ask which official political force within the discourse has the answer to these crises, given the problems such as the insolvency of insurers and retirees, the tax evasion of specific institutions and the widespread suppression of independent workers and teachers organizations and associations? The main missing piece of the speech of groups that seems to be against the really existing political forces is the issue of social justice. In other words, the official political forces are not significantly different at the level of political economy, and none can be a minimal alternative to the current situation. The bitter irony is that today a group is claiming justice and determine to enter the parliament, whose most frustrating economic policies were implemented in their favored government in the 80s. This group, which is also politically one of the most hard_liner groups available ,only can claim justice when they can determine their relation to the country's macroeconomic discourse, and also to all the institutions of its discourse. Ironically, the consolidation of these economic policies has weakened electoral institutions and strengthened the appointive by removing the affairs of the electoral institutions.

At the same time, the fungus-like expansion of parallel institutions, which also accelerated in the nineties, severely limited the minimal functions of elected bodies in general, and of parliament in particular. In recent years, parallel institutions such as the Council of the Heads of Three Power, the Supreme Council of National Security , the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, and so on have been deciding in all major areas by excluding parliament and government. What we have witnessed in the case of rising gas prices is a testament to the legal inefficiency of parliament. At this juncture, an illegal bill was passed without the knowledge of the Parliament, while "Extract of the virtues of the nation!" were not even able to protest this Obvious lawlessness, let alone the impact. The widespread political crackdown alongside the legal restraint of parliament can be seen as the last shot on the ballot box. The lack of freedom of speech, the lack of freedom of the media, the impossibility of establishing progressive parties and so on have so obstructed the political space that the possibility of forming and strengthening a liberating political force within official structures has been ruled out in advance. In this context, the Guardian Council has become one of the pillars of Blockage production in Iran in the recent decades, with widespread disqualification of transformational and dissident candidates. Of course, we should also note that although the disqualification of some reformist figures lead the group to not participate in the election, despite their argue that main reason for the meaninglessness of election is disqualifications, all the aforementioned mechanisms are the true reasons, and, ironically, many reformist made These by themselves and They have been involved. The so-called reformists' disregard for the issue of political economy, their inactivity and irresponsibility over the disastrous cultural and social and economic policies of the Rouhani’s government, especially in the second round, turning the election from a political tool to an end in itself, a failure to respond to the Omid list, And they all point to the structural-oriented reformers becoming part of the current situation.

Dear people;

Now we have to ask ourselves, if this is the case, where do we stand today? Is darkness so overshadowed that no light is ever found? Can't we find a way to succumb to the progressive darkness? Will destruction inevitably take us along? Certainly not.

History is full of open possibilities for the future, and incidentally in the dark times the responsibility of making a more freedom alternative becomes even greater. Today's action can at the same time liberate our tomorrow and redeem the past. We will repeat again; we must return to society with the people. We must turn our eyes to politics, from elections to people. Today the popular mobilization around the issue of elections not only has a political result, but also raises the potential of the kinship situation. Popular politics is the only way to open up historical possibilities beyond the false binaries. What is meant by popular politics is not merely paying more attention to the people than the position of the state, but rather to the people, or in other words to everyone whose voice is suppressed, in the position of political agent. It is only from this perspective that all forms of subjugation can be rejected. If political domination, economic exploitation, cultural discrimination, and social oppression lead to masses of disenfranchised such as dissidents, intellectuals, political prisoners, environmental activists, students, workers, drivers, poor, working children, teachers, women, ethnic and religious minorities and etc. Ending, the only possible progress of the "united resistance" against the status quo. In contrast, most of the current political forces, despite their emphasis on some of these mechanisms, are each incapable of understanding the other. However, popular politics, by insisting on the creative power of the people, rejects any form of impoverishment mechanism, and thus relies solely on the power of the people, with any dependence on foreign powers such as militancy or sanctions. The other issue is frustrating dualism of participation or non-participation in the elections; a dualism in which there is no freedom in the current atmosphere. In the face of some kind of “dying republicanization”, politics has to be found elsewhere.

The university has shown in recent months that it still has high political potential. The presence of students alongside the public on  December 7th and January this year is a testament to their insistence on popular politics.Students have returned to the campus today and have shown their solidarity with the excluded, in addition to fighting against the commodification and making aegis of university.

Now the university has become an area of nonvilolent civil resistance and nonviolence.We seek to provide the possiblity of liberation from current situation in order to salvation in the future with united resistance.
