The reasoning behind this was seeing that lots of our customers were going this direction and I had been hearing great things about this kind of mattress. Once it was out of the packaging, I did notice there was an odour similar to that of paint, it was not a strong smell and only lasted for a short time (maybe a week). Initially, the mattress took some getting used to as it was like night and day, the level of comfort was vastly different than my previous mattress. The memory foam conforms to my body and doesn't become hot or bothersome. Creaking springs and pressure points are now a thing of the past, waking up feeling rested and lacking a sore back has been great. Personally, I will stick with memory foam in the future, based on the level of comfort, support it provides.
