Unfortunately, it cannot go in reverse as the transmission is limited to just one gear. More precisely, on a petrol and 2 stroke oil mix. Keep in mind that this is a very tender machine, just like a real car, so it will need plenty of maintenance. In the past, Nitro powered RC cars were all the craze. They were much faster and could run for longer periods of time than the classic electric RC cars.
