Designer Stelios Musarris designs and produces original furniture for the home. One of his latest works in collaboration with the sculptor Ian Blyth are special armchairs created from Persian carpets.

The rug chairs hold their shape thanks to a steel frame, and the rugs themselves are handmade, each one taking about four months of work. 

Such an armchair looks as if it is an Aladdin's magic carpet that folds up to rest.

The cost of such furniture is also quite fabulous: from 5,000
