Charge: Uncle killed nephew with several stab wounds | BT Krimi - www.bt.dk The residents of the holiday home area Vellerup on Zealand woke up on a July day last year to blue flashes, barrier tape and a swarm of officers. A 19-year-old boy had lost his life during the night. And on Tuesday, his uncle is going to court. Accused of killing him. The 43-year-old man has been in custody since the afternoon of July 21 last year - almost 12 hours after the alleged murder. During the constitutional hearing, however, the judge at the Court in Hillerød did not find that there was a reasonable suspicion of murder. However, there was a reasonable suspicion of fatal violence, it was believed, and therefore sent him behind bars. However, the police have maintained the conviction that it was an intentional murder, and that is therefore also what the 43-year-old is now charged with. In the indictment, which B.T. has been given access to documents, it is said that he stabbed and cut his nephew 12 times in the body in a holiday home in Vellerup by Skibby before 4.25. Both with a steak knife and other unknown utensils. According to the indictment, the assault resulted in the teenager receiving several cuts on his face and body. In addition, the 19-year-old received a five to ten centimeter deep stab wound on the right side of his back and a ten centimeter deep stab wound on the left side of his chest. The latter affected both his lung and heart. At 4.30 in the morning, the police received the report that there had been a scuffle between two men. And when officers arrived at the cottage, it was clear that the 19-year-old's life could not be saved. At 5 p.m., the just 19-year-old nephew was pronounced dead. At the address, officers met several present. Among them was the 43-year-old, who was immediately taken away and who, almost half a day later, was produced in constitutional interrogation. Ritzau, who was present during the constitutional hearing, described at the time that he looked badly beaten. And that he interrupted several times while the judge was speaking. This despite the fact that his defender had advised him to remain silent. Police worked for a long time in the area of the cottage. The majority of the constitutional hearing took place behind closed doors, but subsequently it became clear that the 43-year-old pleaded not guilty. The same was true of a woman who the day after the alleged murder was also arrested and charged in the case. The police also wanted her remanded in custody, but the court in Hillerød did not find that there was a reasonable suspicion that she had been guilty of murder. Therefore, she was released immediately after the constitutional hearing and she is not included in the indictment filed against the 43-year-old. The indictment states that the prosecution would take the case to court with juries, but that the defendant, however, has denied this. Therefore, it will be a court of law that must decide whether the 43-year-old is guilty of murder - and what punishment he should be sentenced in that case.
