(𝐇angul :엔하이픈 ; 𝐉apanese :エンハイフン) is a south Korean boyband formed by belift lab (a collaboration of Hybe Corporation and CJ Ꮛ&M) through the survival show 𝐈-𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 on.

The group's name, 𝐄nhypen, was introduced through a live broadcast of the last episode of i-land. According to etymology, enhypen gets its name from the dash symbol (-), which creates new meanings including "𝐂onnection, 𝐃iscovery, & 𝐆rowth". 𝟐: Similar to how hyphens connect different words to find new meanings, 𝐸nhypen aims "𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵, 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴."

on October 9, October. they announced the name of their fan club called ENGENE, which consists of the two names engine and Gene combined. ENGENE has two meanings, namely Fans as “𝙢𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨” that help the group to grow and move forward, and that 𝗘𝗡𝗛𝗬𝗣𝗘𝗡 and Fans “𝗌𝗁𝖺𝗋𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗌𝖺𝗆𝖾 𝖣𝖭𝖠 𝗍𝗈 𝖼𝗈𝗇𝗇𝖾𝖼𝗍, 𝖽𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗅𝗈𝗉, 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗀𝗋𝗈𝗐 𝗍𝗈𝗀𝖾𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗋.”
