Family members suspected of killing 14-year-old girl: Alleged it was suicide | BT Udland - www.bt.dk On Thursday, a 14-year-old girl was found dead in her home in the Swedish city of Nacka near Stockholm. At first, her death was treated as a suicide - but later it turned out to be a crime. It writes. When police arrived at the scene, the family on the spot stated that the girl had taken her life. Shortly afterwards, the girl's mother, her brother and a cousin, all of whom are suspected of murder, were arrested. The mother came to Sweden with her children relatively recently. The reason for the arrest was that the family members' stories about what happened in connection with the girl's death did not seem to hold true. Police suspect an arranged statutory suicide that was to cover up the murder of the girl. According to information in the police investigation, the motive for the murder must have been honor-related. The suspects had given various explanations of what had happened. They had also hidden objects after the girl's death. It was about objects that, according to the family, should have been used in the alleged suicide, but also about the girl's mobile phone. A week before the murder, the girl must have hung out with friends after school, and the family was reportedly not very happy about that. Such a reaction was not surprising to the school, which had experienced similar before. The school was therefore very concerned when the girl was reported sick on Thursday - the same day she was found dead in the evening. The murder suspicions have also been strengthened after a forensic pathologist found out that the injuries to the girl did not match the story that the family members had given about how the suicide should have taken place.
