Cyclist seriously injured in accident: Police escorted to hospital | BT Society - www.bt.dk On Wednesday afternoon, there was a serious traffic accident. A male cyclist of about 65 years has been driven to Skejby University Hospital with police escorts. The cyclist was driving on Auningvej in Hvilsager when a truck lost two wheels. "The wheels fall off the truck, and they hit a car and a cyclist, respectively," says Morten Hansen, who is duty officer at East Jutland Police. The cyclist is seriously injured when he is hit by the wheel. "We escort the ambulance in there because it was critical," says Morten Hansen.
