The murder suspect recognizes stabbing - but denies killing | BT Krimi - www.bt.dk The 53-year-old woman who was arrested on Saturday and charged with the murder of a 56-year-old man in Frederikshavn, has been remanded in custody for four weeks. The court in Aalborg has decided this after a constitutional hearing. The woman was wearing black jogging clothes when she took her seat in court. Here, the prosecutor read out the charge, which stated that the 53-year-old was charged with manslaughter. The indictment also stated that the 56-year-old man, who the police describe as being in close relationship with the accused, has died after several stab wounds. Defendant's defense attorney explained that his client denies guilt in the murder, yet admits to having stabbed the 56-year-old man with the knife. After the indictment had been presented, prosecutors requested that the door be closed for the sake of the further investigation, where the police still need to interrogate witnesses, just as the crime weapon must also be investigated further. The judge chose to comply with the request despite protests from those present from the press. Police arrested a total of four people after the killing, which happened shortly before 5pm on Saturday afternoon. However, three of those arrested have been released again and have not been charged.
