Space Science Club start up and Educational Outreach program training @Etege Mennen Girls boarding School

Training on ‘Space Science Club start up and Educational Outreach program’ was held at Etege Mennen girls boarding School, from 27- 29 April 2021, Addis Ababa.

The training was designed to support the recently established science club of Etege Mennen girls boarding School by highly motivated students interested in STEM.

The training was organized by ESSTI’S women’s children and Youth Affairs directorate in collaboration with ESSS, EAROAD and ESKC and focus on the following topics:

• How to organize and lead science club.
• How to organize Educational Outreach Program at school club level
• The basic concept of Astronomy and Space Science &
• Inspirational talk for girls about ‘Gender & Science’

In the training 30 girls of the science club and 10 teachers were participated. Besides the training the girls were updated about ESSTI activities in particular and space program in Ethiopia in general.
