DIA (다이아, DIAMOND or Do It Amazing) is a new girl group from South Korea formed by MBK Entertainment. DIA is the younger brother of Girlband T-ara and Boyband SPEED. The group now consists of 9 members: Eunice, Joo Eun, Cathy, Jenny, Yebin, Eunjin, Chaeyeon, Eunchae and Somyi. Before becoming a girl group now, MBK initially announced that it would form a new girl group through survival programs such as WIN or No.Mercy. But the plan failed halfway for some reason. Finally, in mid-2015, MBK announced that the group was named DIA which stands for Diamond or it could be Do It Amazing.

The meaning of that is so that they can become a group that shines when receiving love for a long time, and can become the most precious of all gemstones. DIA officially debuted on September 14 with the release of the first full album titled Do It Amazing. The album contains 11 songs with the title track "Somehow". While his stage debut was on September 17th on Mnet's M!Countdown. Then, on October 19, DIA re-released the music video for "My Friend Boy Friend" which is also part of their first debut album and the song was performed for their next promotion.

In December Cathy and Chaeyeon took part in a survival program titled Produce 101. They were both known to have signed the contract before DIA debuted. After being eliminated, Cathy finally returned to the group. While Chaeyeon managed to take 7th place in the final round and debuted with a group called IOI.

In early March 2016, MBK Entertainment announced the addition of a new member named Eunchae. The member will debut when DIA's upcoming comeback. At the end of April, Seunghee's contract with MBK will expire. After negotiations, Seunghee finally discontinued his contract with MBK so he officially left DIA. Having been on a temporary hiatus, MBK announced that Cathy and Chaeyeon were back in the group and would be making a comeback in the middle of the year.

On June 14, DIA finally released their first mini album entitled Happy Ending. This mini album contains a total of 7 songs with the flagship song "On The Road". Then, on September 13, they re-released their second mini album titled Spell with the lead single “Mr. Potter". In mid-March 2017, DIA traveled to Japan to shoot their reality show program. At the same time, it is known that DIA will be releasing their 2nd album in April.

Not only that, this group also added 2 new members named JuEun (1995) and Somyi (2000), bringing a total of 9 members. Their second album entitled YOLO was officially released on April 19, 2017. Then, on August 22, 2017, DIA returned by releasing their third mini album titled 'Love Generation' with its flagship song “Can't Stop”. Not long ago, DIA made a comeback by releasing a repackaged mini album entitled 'Present'. But unfortunately for this comeback, Yebin and Somyi did not participate in promotions because they participated in the tv program from KBS "The Unit".
